Our surf lessons are provided by local guys (born in Tamarindo) who have more than 10 years of experience as surfers and as surf instructors.  They speak english fully and know the area where the lesson will take place very well.

The lessons are 1 1/2 hrs. long in the water, the surfboard (soft board) and a rash guard are included with the lesson.  The lesson is divided into 2 parts, the theory and the practice.  First part on the beach, theory and water safety, the basic movements to be able to stand up on the surfboard, ocean and waves explanation, and then to the water..... to practice what we just explained.

We have lessons for all ages and all levels, the requirements are some swimming knowledge and willing to have fun....   

In the over 11 years experience as a surf school, all of our students have stood up and surfed on the first lesson.  Therefore, we guarantee you are not gonna be the first one, if not second lesson will be FREE.
